1900: Coral has slashed Rip Van Winkle to 8/1 (from 25/1) favourite for next year's 2000 Guineas, following his Group Three success over the 1000 Guineas favourite Cuis Ghaire, who remains 8/1 market leader for the fillies' Classic.
"Rip Van Winkle has leapt to the head of the betting for the 2,000 with an eyecatching performance against a previously unbeaten filly, who herself has lost little in defeat against a potentially top-class colt," said Coral's David Stevens.
